Admissions Arrangements 2025-2026
Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will have to make and we warmly welcome tours of our school.
If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022 then you can apply for a Reception place for September 2026.
The closing date for Reception applications is Thursday 15th January 2026.
Other key dates to note are:
National Offer Day - Thursday 16th April 2026
Deadline to accept/decline school places - Thursday 30th April 2026

Transition into William Morris Primary School
We recognise the importance getting transition right for your child, to help with that we offer a number approaches:

The home visits is an informal opportunity to see your child in their familiar setting, home. Meet staff again and a chance to discuss any concerns.

Pre-school visits to ensure a smooth hand over of any information between early years professionals

Taster session (stay and play) at school to explore the classroom, meet teachers, support staff and new friends
